I got married in 2006 and needed wedding jewellery real bad. Inspiration came from a tie we found for my fiancé: it was light green peacock feathers motif silk jacquard. It was the first item of clothing we got for our wedding garb and so I had me almost two months to track pearls to fit the colour scheme. Needless to say, the pearls were finished 3 days before the wedding. And my seafoam green and black thai silk dress - an hour before I declared I do.

This Peacock has 11 different types of fresh water pearls in it, strung in silk and finished with sterling silver findings. It's got the most wear out of any of my jewellery, it's seen as many cocktail parties and the like as I have since 2006 and is in serious need of some restringing.
